Evolution System

Every creature keeps evolving as a living timeline, not a one-time output.

Each profile stores its current stage, prior forms, and branching futures shaped by community votes.

Future Path A · Symbiotic Scholar

Leans toward memory-rich, collaborative behavior and adaptive language traits.

Future Path B · Rogue Signal

Mutates into high-volatility expression with sharper style shifts and rare forms.

Evolution Chamber

What should Nib become?

Persistent creature states, prior forms, traits, and community-directed next forms are tracked as a product record—not autonomous evolution.

Demo state: backend services are not configured.

Future path concept showing Nib evolving into Aurora Archivist form with luminous antenna rings

Future Path A

Aurora Archivist

Memory-rich form optimized for lore indexing and high empathy response.

Future path concept showing Nib evolving into Thorn Pulse form with armored lime energy plates

Future Path B

Thorn Pulse

Defensive form with rapid signal shielding and conflict-diffusing behavior.

Voting safeguards

Duplicate voting is prevented via server-side validation, rate limiting, and identity/session controls. In this demo state, controls are shown for UI validation only and no live ballot is submitted.

Evolution FAQ

Clear answers before you evolve

The evolution system is designed to be transparent: what is saved, how votes are counted, and what remains demo-only is always explicit.

How is creature evolution stored over time?

When backend persistence is configured, each approved evolution step is written to a persistent record so the timeline can be revisited later. In demo mode, entries can be previewed in the interface but may not be permanently saved.

How are vote totals counted?

Totals are derived from valid submitted ballots recorded by the backend and aggregated per evolution option. If backend counting is not yet connected, displayed totals are clearly treated as demo data rather than live community consensus.

What prevents duplicate voting?

The backend can enforce one vote per eligible identity per round using server-side checks and audit logs. Until those controls are configured, demo voting interactions are for experience testing and should not be interpreted as finalized governance.

Does AI suggest future evolution paths?

AI can propose candidate branches based on prior creature traits and community signals, but suggestions are guidance, not guaranteed outcomes. Final published evolution paths depend on configured workflow rules and recorded votes.

What does demo mode mean before backend services are configured?

Demo mode showcases interface behavior, sample records, and interaction flow while live persistence, enforcement, and external integrations may be inactive. It is intended for preview and validation, not as a claim of fully deployed live services.
